A thoughtful shift.
A different feeling.
Welcome to Design Concepts by Atelier Giuditta. I look beyond how a room photographs to consider how it welcomes you, supports your routines, and makes room for the life you live.
Explore the before. Notice the change. Discover the intention behind it.

A wall as your entire outlook.
A desk facing the wall leaves your back toward the room and limits your view of the entrance. In my feng shui framework, an exposed back and closed outlook lack the support and sense of possibility I want for your workspace.
Create support behind you.
Where the layout allows, face the room with a solid wall behind your chair and a view of the entrance, offset from the doorway.
Support. Perspective. Possibility.
In my feng shui framework, I seek support behind the working position and an open outlook ahead. The command position is a traditional principle; it does not guarantee creativity or career outcomes.
Make the concept work in your home
Check chair clearance, power outlets, window glare and the route through the room. Keep cables out of the walking path. When the desk cannot move, adapt the principle to the room’s actual constraints.
Your home should still belong to your everyday life.
An empty nest can invite a new rhythm. I encourage you to give each room a purpose that includes you—not only the next family visit.
Open the curtains, check the space, sit for a moment. In feng shui language, this is a way to invite movement into a room that has become still.
A guest room can welcome reading, music or a quiet cup of tea between visits. Keep its purpose useful and personal.
Refresh the layout around what you do today. Keep the things that matter, and make space for how your life is changing.

Feng shui explanations reflect traditional design beliefs, which vary by school. They are offered alongside practical design considerations, rather than as scientifically established effects of energy. Accessibility concepts require an individual assessment of the room, the person and any mobility equipment.
